I love the way old and new terminology often merge to help us describe our experiences. One of my favorite combinations is "driving traffic to a website." What if people really had to drive to your website? Imagine thousands of people in cars crowding the highway and honking their horns trying to be first in line so they can stand in front of computer screens and browse the sale items in your online storefront.

Hopefully your website traffic strategy allows your visitors to leave their cars in the garage, but there are some important insights into marketing advice and consumer-behavior in this analogy that are worth considering...>
